CROWNE PLAZA SOLIHULL, AN IHG HOTEL, Solihull – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a cozy and clean room, but the noise from the restaurant outside was a bit bothersome. The service was a mix of attentive friendliness and moments of condescension. The hotel's central location was a big plus, making it easy to explore Solihull, although dining had its highs and lows. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel is ideally situated across from the shopping complex, making it convenient for shopping at Touchwood Mall and exploring Solihull's shops. The rooms, while smaller compared to other Crowne Plazas, were cozy and well-maintained, but the leisure club closed early during our stay. The service, especially from Gary Richardson, was exceptional, going above and beyond to meet dietary needs and providing a thoughtful anniversary gesture. The location is perfect for shopping, socializing, and enjoying local attractions. The dining experience was outstanding with a wide selection, and the facilities offered were top-notch.

The hotel had pluses like excellent location near shops and restaurants, but the noise from the elevators was a drawback. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfy. The service was mixed with friendly staff but also some issues like an unconventional request for card details. Dining had highs and lows, with some amazing dishes but also incidents like finding chicken bones in a panini. Overall, a convenient location with room for improvement in service and dining.

My stay at the hotel was overall enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and clean, although it was a bit too hot and draughty initially. The service from all staff members was exceptionally attentive and friendly. The location was fantastic, right opposite a shopping center with various food options. The dining experience was good but a bit pricey. The facilities were satisfying.
